Apprehensive but fine

I write to you, petals, from college. I have completed and sent off UCAS, I have completed and handed in assignments meant to be half term work and I have had my stitches removed this morning.

I'm looking forward to a half term filled with sleep and nothing else. I'm looking forward to spending time with my friends. I'm looking forward to a break.

I'm good.

Hi Niki........

Enjoy your time off (though I am not too sure what a half-term is, I'm presuming you have a break from studies of some sort?)

Recharge and soak up some fun.

that work you should have done over the half term you already have done and handed in, meaning you can take a real break. clap yourself on the back. do what you enjoy this half term. relax, see friends, its entirely up to you. Have a good half term niki.

*hugs*

Thanks rainbow dreams - I tried to find something that summed up how I felt that morning.

Awareness half term is just a week long break from college - very much needed!

*hugs* laura and lou - love you x

Dickens once said that , 'it is a far better thing that i do, than i have ever done; it is a far, far better rest that i go to, than i have ever known.'

it reminds me of the mystery that the great tom waits sings.......come on up to the house.....

Well the moon is broken
And the sky is cracked
Come on up to the house
The only things that you can see
Is all that you lack
Come on up to the house

All your cryin don't do no good
Come on up to the house
Come down off the cross
We can use the wood
Come on up to the house

Come on up to the house
Come on up to the house
The world is not my home
I'm just a passin thru
Come on up to the house

There's no light in the tunnel
No irons in the fire
Come on up to the house
And your singin lead soprano
In a junkman's choir
You gotta come on up to the house

Does life seem nasty, brutish and short
Come on up to the house
The seas are stormy
And you can't find no port
Come on up to the house
There's nothin in the world

there's nothin in the world
that you can do
you gotta come on up to the house
and you been whipped by the forces
that are inside you
come on up to the house
well you're high on top
of your mountain of woe
come on up to the house
well you know you should surrender
but you can't let go
you gotta come on up to the house

if i exorcise my angels my demons just might leave too......i long to go up to the house too....
