Rollercoasters

I know that this is an overused analogy but suppose that my life is a bit of a rollercoaster. Think of last night as the big dip which is approached at about 500mph and you're not sure if you're going to survive it because it's fast and manic and oddly detatched.

This morning is that long straight bit when you've no idea what might happen - is the ride over? Or is there going to be another life-threatening loop? No-one knows at that moment - even if they've ridden this particular rollercoaster before.

The point is that people don't die from plunging towards the ground on a rollercoaster. Right? Right?!?!

just remember, hunny, after the lows come the highs. which ultimately means better times, yes? You're ok Niki, you're a nice person. Yes, I have never met you before, but you always come across to me as a great gal. So dont let this get you down. Go sailing, that usually makes you feel better.

*hugs*

We're strapped into the rollercoaster, it's just mega scary at times - hope it evens out soon so you can enjoy the ride

Yes, you're right - actually, the most common form of rollercoaster accidents is when it's stopping to let folk off - the brakes just don't work. Oh also, there was a particular ride 'Superman: Ride Of Steel' in America, where a man was catapulted from his seat when the rollercoaster reached the peak of one of the hills!

Here's a picture of the slope - imagine a man continuing on upwards after the top...

What a beautiful analogy. Sometimes u really do wonder what ur gonna hit at 500mph and whether it would be a good feeling or a bad one, or u just slow down and feel a bit sick.
