I'm Back!

Hey everyone did you miss me? I did it! Granted i walked 56 instead of 48 kilometers but i did it. We got mildly lost but it was not my fault that the map was upside down or we were following the wrong needle on the compass! I want no jokes about women and maps thanks.

I have never listened to Radiohead but will it help if i buy some and let you know? I am a woman and i do not like to be hassled!

Will people please end this speculation about me and Mr T i am sure he is very nice but i have never met the man and i don't think that it  is possible to fall in 'love' entirely over the internet! So to conclude i cannot fancy Mr T as i have only one clue to his real identity plus i am sure that he has other prospects other than a 15 year old crazy girl from Guernsey with a bizarre thirst for danger.

Oh and did you know that being caught in a muddy bog - 4 times, up to your waist is not fun?!

Yo Crazy Lady! Good to have you back! I've been away as well on my expedition. Don't worry about women and maps, what about men and asking for directions. 8km more than required? Not bad going.

About Radiohead... what kind of music are you into. Give me some examples and I'll tell you if you'll like them. Their an aquired taste!

Isn't it funny how rumours start? I suppose it's all done in a good nature... their just jealous they don't know anyone as crazy or as mad as us!

The bog scenario doesn't sound like much fun, but then you haven't lived until you've had a crap in the great outdoors...

crazy-lady: im confused, what is it about you that makes you crazy?

keir. keir, keir i am naturally crazy because, as i said i have a bizarre thirst for danger and i am just crazy, how do you explain craziness? Oh and i do d of e that has to be crazy. i was the one on expedition who sang christmas songs to cheer everyone up and could not wait to get to the bridge to cross the river, i just waded right through! i got wet and i am the one who asks if it is possible to ski uphill (it's not). I like the red hot chillis and the corrs and anastacia, that sort of thing. i quite like gabrielle and my music weakness is shania twain. i am working this week so not really on holiday yet, the only thought that gets me through endless, uncrazy, filing is the fact that i'll get paid quite a lot on friday. but i work at a garage so i get to play with the cars. i can't use tha company laminator because i once broke it and i have no idea how to send a fax. now that confession is over i realise that i should have posted a new blog not written a great long, essay-like comment. oh well, see you tomorrow. hope you got on ok on your expedition Mr T.

right - so your intentionally insane as opposed to mentally disabled. hate to say it but i dont like any of the music you like - feckin meaningless pop - if your trully crazy listen to amnesiac (radiohead album) 50 times on loop and try to avoid topping yourself.

Hmm... the Chilli's may be a reliable path into Radiohead. I don't mind Anastasia, I might go as far as to say I like the Corrs, but Shania Twain? I'm sorry but that's just too crazy! Radiohead is at many points a bit depressing, but the music is where it's at. Try some REM. Their my favourite band, and you'd probably prefer them.

Keir said...

yes, REM are a little more up-beat, crazy lady, i seem to remember that sometime you said you lived in guernsey, whats that like?

Nikita said...

Well Guernsey is quite small which is why i intend to move when i am 'all grown up' there just aren't enough crazy things to do. and i am not a depressed type of person so i'll avoid your pathetic music thank you very much! (no offense)

No no no! You misunderstood! Radiohead isn't hate music like Slipknot or the likes. It's more on the side of Muse and other deep rock types. And it's all good. Oh, never mind.

suz said...

Hey, hey hey.... not sure where that was leading...
All speculation as to you and Mr T is heretoforth ended... mwahahaha. On occasion Radiohead can be rather fun. REM are another good choice... hmmm. I'm listening to the Killers. i'm not sure how much i lke the rest of the album, apart from Mr Brightside, which is a fantastic song. However, i would recommend Muse, or Keane in fact. on a completely different musical tangent, you might enjoy Maroon 5. i totally do and its totally not what i would usually listen to... hmmm. ok, well....

Keir said...

ugh - keane are like a shite version of coldplay (not that coldplay arent shite), my brother has the killers album which also sucks and i downloaded the maroon 5 album for my other bro and it sucks to....sorry

Keir said...

oh - i forgot muse - radiohead rip off

Gordon Strachan said...

I hope everyone realises that a few weeks ago, Keir was singing praises to Coldplay after hearing their Parachutes album. Its a bit closed minded to cut off Muse because they're similar to Radiohead. I've heard of the Killers but I can't remember hearing them. I have to say though that I don't really like Maroon 5.

I've been listening to No Doubt and...wait for it...Dusty Springfield! I know, I know, but just listen to Spooky and you'll know the true meaning of groovy.

Gordon Strachan said...

Oh, by the by, thanks for telling me your name CL. I've never met anyone called that; it's a wicked name!

Keir said...

parachutes was ok - for a while - but rush of blood to the head was a repeditive peice-o-carp

Keir said...

"wicked" now theres an adjective i havent heard in a while

Gordon Strachan said...

Here's another word: Ace. As in aw, that is so ace! I'll agree with Rush of Blood... it wasn't too groovy. Cl's going to get a surprise when she see's "16 comments"!

ooh, look post 17.
i haveabsolutely no objection to people disliking Maroon 5 i didn't like them to start, waaaay too dancy.. but then, i have odd tastes. i mean i have two Antifolk albums shgaring space with Living Things (who are, by the way, the best band i have seen in ages live.) oh and then, the Distillers fighht for cupboard room wit Simon and Garfunkel. so, my thought is that we should embrace different typres of music and not be narrow minded pricks. (not referrring to anyone in particular, at all, keir.) on another not really related to the first music mentioned tangent, AFI and APC are great bands. (A Fire Inside and A Perfect Circle respectively.) I shouldn't post things after having spent the last ten hours at Jonnys house getting steadily more tipsy. I don't feel tipsy, but.. I'm getting all protective and angry and yet melllow, which is not the best sign... oh well.

Hmmm. Oh, and the Killers are growing on me. It was babysitting money that i spent on them, so i don't miss it, i never really had it. Oh as for Keane, they are like a mellow band, but its my sisters album and its easy listening. i quite like it. Why am i justifying myself to keir?????!!!!!

wicked, ace, (actually, i used ace recently)... fab, stonking. no tat is a class (ooh another one) word.

well, goodnight. sheesh this was a long comment...
