Choice over expectation as I believed you pointed out is what we should strive for.

Laura, you talk bollocks sometimes. You certainly are a credit to your own example of women ranting, but as for men not showing they're feelings, thats just balls. My male friends are some of the most forward and open people I know, the girls that I know are generally the ones that need pushing to reveal what they think. I'm not saying that this point is true for every male/female, I'm just saying your generalisation is untrue.Gordon Strachanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18319704693196439068noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7517717.post-1142286465419749402006-03-13T21:47:00.000+00:002006-03-13T21:47:00.000+00:00btw, i hope you're feeling better, Niki, its awful...btw, i hope you're feeling better, Niki, its awful having the flu. :( xxLauraEllenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06599403785937867794noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7517717.post-1142286407376028772006-03-13T21:46:00.000+00:002006-03-13T21:46:00.000+00:00well, as a bloke, i suppose you would know. but i ...well, as a bloke, i suppose you would know. but i still think that women rant more than men to let their true feelings out and share them.LauraEllenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06599403785937867794noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7517717.post-1142286049138555062006-03-13T21:40:00.000+00:002006-03-13T21:40:00.000+00:00You imply that women rant more than men, i dont th...You imply that women rant more than men, i dont think thats trueKeirhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14285687646545100749noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7517717.post-1142194790793296122006-03-12T20:19:00.000+00:002006-03-12T20:19:00.000+00:00exactly my point. equality for women. and also, ju...exactly my point. equality for women. and also, just to put my point across, men always moan about women moaning at them about something. however, most women need to show their emotions, (we are in touch with them unlike some guys, no implications!) and they do show them, but men just dont listen and put it down to ranting. i would just like to say, our rants generally have an important point to them, and that we need to talk about that important point, whether it may be about what to have for dinner tomorrow night or the financial situation within a marriage. phew. that feels better. equality for women is what its all about.LauraEllenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06599403785937867794noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7517717.post-1142180227239766442006-03-12T16:17:00.000+00:002006-03-12T16:17:00.000+00:00Your quite right, feminism isnt about uniformity, ...Your quite right, feminism isnt about uniformity, its about equality.
